What we do in education: adult literacy, community animation on educational issues, participatory awareness work with School Management Committees (SMCs) and Parents Teachers Associations and communities.
What we do in health: health education on HIV/AIDS, family planning, malaria. We also strengthen the capacity of Traditional Birth Attendance, Community Health Workers, Community Health Committees and Peer Educators.
Advocacy, campaigns, gender and women’s rights are mainstreamed into all these programmes as strategies. |
