An important part of RAAP’s Health Programme, HIV/AIDS Education and Prevention saves lives.
The prosperity of a community is dependent on its citizens’ health. Every person has the right to access good health services, irrespective of status, age, gender, religion or tribe. Inadequate health care services, high malnutrition rates, and a lack of education about reproductive health are some of the major issues we face. RAAP seeks to enable community members to access services essential to their well-being through health education initiatives.
Our Health Programme’s main objectives are as follows:
Additionally, RAAP works to improve the quality of services available through training of Community Health Workers, Traditional Birth Attendants, Community Health Committees, and Peer Educators.
